Unwind at Monte da Portela Nova in the Alentejo countryside. Suite 2 is a 30 m² retreat for two adults plus one baby when the cot is available, with a double bed, sitting area, kitchenette, private bathroom and private terrace. Olive trees, chickens and donkeys add to the farm setting near Santa Luzia. A car is essential for exploring the area.
Suite 2 is a 30 m² self-contained suite in our renovated, whitewashed farmhouse, one of four guest suites at Monte da Portela Nova.
It has a separate bedroom with a double bed, a sitting room with a kitchenette and dining table, and a private bathroom. Air conditioning and heating keep it comfortable year-round, and there's free Wi-Fi.
Step out onto your own private terrace, or spend the day in the garden and by the outdoor pool, surrounded by olive trees and open countryside.
The whole suite is yours during your stay: bedroom, sitting room and kitchenette, bathroom and your private terrace.
You're also welcome to use the garden and outdoor pool, which are shared with guests staying in the other three suites. The pool is open May–October, daily 09:00–20:00. Onsite parking is available.
We live on the farm, so we're close by if you need anything. We'll meet you when you arrive, show you to your suite and help you settle in.
After that, we'll leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet, but we're always happy to share tips on local restaurants, walks and day trips. You can message us through Airbnb at any time.
Monte da Portela Nova is in a quiet rural spot with olive trees and animals, so expect the sights and sounds of the countryside.
A car is essential. Relíquias is about 3 km away, and Ourique's shops, cafés and pharmacies are about 26 km away.
Children must be supervised around the grounds, especially near the pool.
All exterior cameras are on and cover shared outdoor areas at the gate, barn and cottage fronts/rears. All record video and sound only on motion during guest stays. Recordings are automatically deleted after 3 days. No video or sound from the pool, private suite terraces or suite interiors.

The suite can accommodate two adults plus one baby under 2 years old at check-in when the cot is available. One baby cot is available at no extra charge across the three suites, on request and subject to availability and suitability. Please request it in advance.
